Leizel has such a heart for the young children and her wish is to someday be able to follow in the footsteps of her father and be a “Bible woman.”

I would like to introduce to you miss Leizel Flonan, 14 years old, and the daughter of Pastor Harry Flonan. As a young girl of 7 years, Leizel was a recipient of a childcare Compassion Ministries – Philippines (CCMP) feeding station located in Xavier Heights, Balulang, Cagayan de Oro. She was very attentive and involved with the Bible stories, lessons, and songs. She loved attending the feeding station, not only for the physical food that she so much needed, but the spiritual food as well.

When the feeding station ended in her area, Leizel continued to participate and stay involved in the local church in her community. Even today, Leizel and some teenage friends (also graduates of the CCMP feeding station) are very active in their youth group.

Leizel’s father, now the pastor of this Assembly of God church, applied for a feeding station to be located in Bulua, Cagayan de Oro. Leizel, a beautiful young lady, is now teaching to other children at the feeding station (see photo) the same Bible stories she herself heard each day. In fact, Leizel told the CCMP nurse monitoring the station, “I am greatly motivated and moved by the compassion and wonderful services of CCMP to the less fortunate children all over the Philippines.”

Leizel has such a heart for the young children and her wish is to someday be able to follow in the footsteps of her father and be a “Bible woman.” She extends her thanks to CCMP and prays for good health and abundance of blessings to all the CCMP staff and supporters who make the feeding stations possible.
